I'm proud to say that I am a first generation college student, a mother and in honors too.
I am so grateful to be returning to the program. Not only does the scholarship help offset the costs of college, but the experience of creating and executing your own research project will prepare me to enter the job market fresh out of school. Also, this semester I will be presenting my findings at an undergraduate research conference for a chance to be published!
I am interested in genetics, algae and environmental stewardship. In my free time I enjoy reading, vanilla lattes and making models/miniatures.
